My name is Micaela Barber and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade again this year!
I have lived in the Vail area since I was 4 years old and was lucky enough to grow up attending Vail schools and be raised in such a close-knit and caring community. I graduated from Cienega High School and then went on to attend Northern Arizona University to receive my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in science.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, reading, and traveling. I also love exploring our beautiful state of Arizona!
I absolutely love being a part of the Copper Ridge family and this will be my second year teaching fourth grade here at CRE. As a teacher, I strive to create a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom community that promotes kindness and respect. I hope that I can share my love of lifelong learning with students and provide them with opportunities that keep them curious and eager to grow!
It’s going to be a great year! Please feel free to contact me throughout the year with any questions, comments, etc. as we partner together in your child’s education.
