Samantha Martin

Hello! My name is Samantha Martin and I am excited to start my third year as a resource teacher at Copper Ridge Elementary! I am originally from Kansas, but spent the bulk of my childhood in Houston and Phoenix eventually making my way to Tucson for college in 2011. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 2015 and went back to UofA (bear down!) in 2017 for my Master’s degree in Special education: Mild and Moderate disabilities. Copper Ridge has been the perfect place to start my teaching career and I have been blessed to be surrounded by the most amazing staff, students, and families!

When I’m not teaching I enjoy being outside and exploring Tucson with my husband. The mountains, sunsets, and food are just a few of my favorites. I also love to travel, golf, bike, run, and work on projects around my house.

I am passionate about helping students learn in whatever ways make sense to them. I believe every child has great potential and I love getting to work with them, catering to their individual and unique needs. I am excited to watch your children learn and grow this year as I continue to learn and grow myself. After all, it never ends. 🙂 Go Ringtails!
