Calling all Coders, Robotics Enthusiasts, and Computer Scientists! You won't want to miss our Coding Competition at Vail School District's Computer Science Night! The competition is to use code in some way to create a game, art, coded presentation, music, or even an app that relates to our theme: Choosing Connections. Students may work individually or in pairs (2-person team). The Vail Computer Science Night is 12/8/2025 from 5 - 7 pm at Mica Mountain High School. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Please help us help our community! There is an urgent need for food assistance in our community. Please consider donating to our annual canned food drive. Bring the items to your classroom teacher. Some item suggestions include: powdered milk, veggies, meat, cooking oil, spices, fruit, applesauce, instant meals (potatoes/rice/pasta, etc. Thank you!

The Book Fair is just days away! The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school. The easiest way for kids to pay is with an eWallet. Book fair hours are:
Monday - Wednesday, 7:10 - 7:30 am and 2:30 - 3:00 pm. Thursday, 7:10 - 7:30 am and 12:30 - 6:30 pm. Friday, 7:10 - 7:30 am and 12:30 - 3:00 pm. After-school students must be accompanied by their parents/guardians.

Tonight, our PTA has a fundraiser at Firehouse Subs in Rita Ranch. The fundraiser runs from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Bring in the flyer, which you can download and print at this web address https://aptg.co/fK_fHf. 30% of the proceeds will be donated to our PTA.

There was an error in the lunch menu provided in the Roundup. There will be no Chicken Sliders available on Monday 3/24. Students will have a choice of fish sticks or a hot dog. We are sorry for the confusion.

Valentine's Grams for sale this week. New items are available. $1 for a colorful heart shaped maze, $.50 for a colorful heart eraser or $1.50 for both items. Grams are sold in the morning before school starts. They will be available for sale through Feb 13th.
