So much fun was had this morning at our annual Teacher Challenge. After a hard-fought battle in the championship round, against a very good second-grade team, the fabulous fifth-grade team emerged victorious. Congratulations to all our wonderful participants. It was a fun and exciting competition with great sportsmanship by everyone.

Head to Arby's on December 8th from 4 pm to 10 pm, eat dinner, and support the Vail School District Foundation. Wear your school shirt to get an extra raffle ticket! The five schools with the highest percentage of participation will have all staff members entered into a drawing to win Free Arby's for a year. Dusty from Tucson Roadrunners will be there from 4-5 pm.

CRE Student Council is having its annual food drive. Please send in food with your student to their classroom. This is an opportunity to help families in our community who are in need. This is a classroom competition, so stay tuned for updates.

NEHS students are starting their service project. They will make fleece blankets to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. These blankets are a comfort item given to families facing medical hardships. They need donations of fleece material. Preferably, two pieces of coordinating fleece in two-yard increments. Donations need to be delivered to Copper Ridge before Monday, November 27th.

School labels have been announced for the 2022-2023 school year. Copper Ridge Elementary is an A! Congratulations Ringtails!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Make a Difference Day. If you have exited our parking lot this week, you know exactly what they worked on Saturday. You all truly have made a difference!

The 23/24 Copper Ridge yearbook is now available to order. You can order online at https://www.balfour.com/arizona/corona-de-tucson/copper-ridge-elementary-school . Yearbooks are $25 each. Last year we ran out so make sure to order yours early.

The Federal Impact Aid Survey 2023 will be available on PowerSchool starting Wednesday, May 18th. We need a survey completed by a parent/guardian for every student at Copper Ridge. If you have trouble logging in to PowerSchool, please call (520) 879-3702 for assistance. Thank you for your assistance in completing this very important task.
